Located in the Audubon Zoo next to the Gottesman Family Endangered Species Carousel, the Cool Zoo is a large water park with three different splash areas, including one especially for toddlers and younger kids. There are jumping water spouts, a huge alligator water slide, a spider monkey soaker, water-spitting snakes, and much more. The Cool Zoo also includes the Gator run, a lazy river attraction.

For Adults

The Cool Zoo has plenty of shaded seating areas, family restrooms, lockers, a concession stand for snacks and a store for anything you forgot to bring. Daily cabana rentals are also available.

Admission Cost

The Cool Zoo is inside the Audubon Zoo, so you will have to pay the admission fee for the zoo to gain access. The Cool Zoo is an extra attraction that costs a small fee for members and a slightly higher fee for non-members. A better deal is the POP wristband, which gets your all-day, unlimited admission to Cool Zoo and the Dinosaur exhibit, plus unlimited Train rides and Carousel rides for just a few dollars more. You can also purchase a combined Zoo / Cool Zoo combo ticket at prices for adults, children, and seniors.
