Whether you're a DC guy or a Marvel gal, you can get your superhero fix while stuffing your face at these comics-themed restaurants. These restaurants are worth flying in for but no cape is required.

For Every Comic Fan: DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe Pavilion, Malaysia
Fly over to Malaysia to visit the two officially licensed DC Comics Super Hero Cafes. If you can't make it to Malaysia, worry not, because there are also superhero restaurants in Singapore, China, Macau, and Hong Kong.
A comics store is paired with an attached restaurant and the result is simply dazzling for even the mildest comics' fan. The menu looks like a comic book and liberally uses superheroes' names in vain, with items such as Aquaman Justice Jumbo Prawn Cocktail, Superman Man of Steel BBQ Chicken, and Wonder Woman Turkey Roll. But, the clear winner is the Dark Knight Mini Wagyu Beef Burger, using the always controversial charcoal black burger topped with yellow cheese in the shape of the bat signal. Finish off your meal with latte art shaped like the bat signal or the Superman logo. And, if you can't make it for lunch or dinner, try the Batman-emblazoned pancakes in the morning with a Green Lantern matcha milkshake on the side.
Location: 5.11.00 Level 5 Pavilion KL Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
For the Ultra-Geek: Action Burger, New York
If mild comic book references are too blasé for you, head to Brooklyn for a meal at Action Burger, the first comics and action hero-themed restaurant in New York City. No Clark Kent references here: The restaurant names its items after its own associated science-fiction novel called "BIO-Sapiens."
Choose to eat like a hero with healthy menu options, or eat like a villain with specialties such as The Toragon. This popular menu item features two beef burgers with crispy chicken in the middle, three types of cheese, spicy guacamole, spicy mayo, grilled onions, and bacon.
The restaurant's interior is packed with posters of comic books, old gaming consoles, and more than 250 vintage arcade games. You can also watch perpetual showings of sci-fi and Marvel movies, classic television shows, and cartoons on the television screens. A Yelp reviewer described it best: "Action Burger is the exact cross between your best friend's basement when you were 12 years old where all your purest memories were made and Elysium."
