Columbus, Ohio is one of the Midwest's most progressive cities when it comes to acceptance of gays and lesbians - it's a city with a lively, vibrant community and one of the most popular and successful Gay Pride festivals in the country, Columbus Pride. Columbus Pride takes place June 17 to 19, 2016.
Columbus Pride's key event is the Pride Festival, which is held in the hip Short North neighborhood's Goodale Park (at 120 W.
Goodale St.) on Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18. Also note that the Columbus Gay Pride Parade takes place on Saturday, and on Sunday, June 19, there's a Pride Brunch at the Columbus Athenaeum (at 32 N. 4th Street). Here's a full schedule of Pride-related events in Columbus.
