Love it or hate it, this biggest chain of coffee stores is everywhere around the Truckee Meadows. You can get regular brewed coffee, numerous specialty coffee drinks, teas, and a variety of sweet treats and some real food. Many locations offer drive-up service, which is quite popular. Besides stand alone stores, there are locations in shopping malls and inside some of the casinos. Rather than list them all, I refer you to Google search or the Starbucks Store Locator.

The Laughing C.A.T.
The Laughing C.A.T. features coffees roasted on the premises and a large selection of fine teas sold in bulk. You can also pick up accessories like tea pots for brewing up said teas. Coffee can be purchased by the pound, either whole bean or ground. There a couple of tables inside should you wish to enjoy a cup while visiting. Owner Mark Fleming has been serving up his coffees and teas for many years at what is now exactly a central location, so he must be doing something right.

You'd think this was Seattle or something, what with the great selection of good coffee shops and drive-thrus all around the Reno / Tahoe area. Getting a java jolt isn't a problem around here.
