This Cleveland-based company has locations at Legacy Village and Crocker Park shopping centers. They offer a variety of contemporary and traditional furniture with an interesting assortment of accessories. They frequently feature Balinese-themed teak pieces as well. Arhaus' showrooms are extremely well-designed and its fun to look here, even if you can't buy.

Located in Solon, southeast of downtown Cleveland, this huge store has been in business for over 50 years. Their "Street of Dreams" features 27 galleries in which to browse. The merchandise spans all periods and design styles and includes artwork, accessories, and lighting. Services at Sedlak Interiors include interior design help, delivery, custom orders, and online order tracking.

If your design taste runs towards French country, than Maison by Paysage, in Rocky River, is the place for you. Levin Furniture, a family run company that began in 1920 in Western PA, has six stores in the Greater Cleveland area -- in Akron, Canton, Mentor, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, and their clearance center in Oakwood Village. Levin offers a wide range of home and office furniture. They have frequent sales and advertise a free "no-risk" five-year protection plan on all purchases.

Amish Furniture

Clevelanders are fortunate to be within driving distance of many Amish furniture craftsmen. Amish furniture is known for its unadorned, simple lines and its precise construction. Made predominantly from oak, maple, and cherry woods using only hand tools, these handsome dining room tables, kitchen tables, and bedroom sets are found in Amish communities throughout Holmes and Geauga Counties. Some items may be found in area furniture stores or they may be custom ordered directly from the maker.
