Memphis city parks attached to community centers provide an abundance of recreational options around the city, from outdoor basketball courts to playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts, swimming pools and much more. The parks are available to city of Memphis residents.

Bert Ferguson Park

Bert Ferguson Park is 48 acres at 8505 Trinity Road adjacent to Bert Ferguson Community Center. The facility features separate dance and art studios, a banquet facility, a full basketball court, two racquetball courts, fitness room, game room, two unlighted soccer fields and two ball fields, four unlighted tennis courts, pavilion and playground, and a 1-mile fitness trail.

Bethel LaBelle Park

Bethel LaBelle Park is a one-acre park at 2698 LaRose Ave. adjacent to Bethel LaBelle Community Center. The community center is a Memphis Athletic Ministries facility. The park features a playground.

Bickford Park

Bickford Park is a six-acre park at 232 Bickford adjacent to the Bickford Community Center. The park features play equipment and a playground ballfield, a basketball court, pavilion and indoor swimming pool.

Walter Chandler Park

Walter Chandler Park is on 151 acres at Horn Lake and Raines roads adjacent to Lakeview Senior Citizen Center. It features play equipment and a picnic area.

Charles Davis Park

Charles Davis Park is on eight acres at 6671 Spotswood adjacent to the Davis Community Center where visitors can enjoy a ballfield, play equipment, and a basketball court.

Douglass Park

Douglass Park is on 43 acres at 1616 Ash St. The park is adjacent to Douglass Community Center and was the city’s first park for African Americans when it was built in 1913.

The park features two outdoor basketball courts, an indoor basketball court, three pavilions and a picnic area, swimming pool, an ss1-mile fitness trail, playground, and ballfield.

Egypt Central Park

Egypt Central Park is on 13 acres at 3985 Egypt Central adjacent to the Frayser Raleigh Senior Center, which features fitness equipment.

The park contains a half-mile fitness trail, picnic pavilion, and play equipment.

Frayser Park

Frayser Park is on 40 acres at 2907 N. Watkins adjacent to the Ed Rice Frayser Community Center. The park features a tennis center with eight outdoor courts, play equipment, a picnic pavilion, 1.5-mile fitness trail, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a bike route starting point and the Ed Rice Swimming Pool.

Gaisman Park

Gaisman Park is on 24 acres at 4223 Macon adjacent to the Gaisman Community Center. The park features three lighted softball fields, play equipment and a playground ballfield, two free tennis courts, an indoor basketball court, 1-mile fitness trail, swimming pool and a pavilion with restrooms. There also is a monument to Vietnam veterans.

Gaston Park

Gaston Park is on 8.44 acres at 1046 S. Third St. adjacent to the Gaston Community Center where the Gaston Park branch library also is located. The park features a pavilion, play equipment, an indoor basketball court, one outdoor basketball court, playground ballfield and a 1/4-mile fitness trail.

Glenview Park

Glenview Park is located on 24.5 acres at 1141 S. Barksdale adjacent to the Glenview Community Center. The park contains one outdoor basketball court, a playground ballfield, a 1-mile fitness trail, two free tennis courts, pavilion and play equipment.

Greenlaw Park

Greenlaw Park is on 2 acres adjacent to the Greenlaw Community Center at 190 Mill. The park features one indoor basketball court, one outdoor basketball court, and play equipment.

Hickory Hill Park

Hickory Hill Park sits on 80 acres at 3910 Ridgeway Road adjacent to the Hickory Hill Community Center, which includes an indoor aquatic center. The park features a playground, four lighted tennis courts, a pavilion and picnic area, two sand volleyball courts and a 1-mile fitness trail.

Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park sits on 4.1 acres adjacent to Hollywood Community Center at 1560 N. Hollywood. The park features an indoor basketball court, play equipment, and a playground ballfield.

Robert Howze Park

Robert Howze Park sits on 4.87 acres adjacent to Lester Community Center on Tillman at Mimosa.

The park features eight indoor basketball courts, six lighted outdoor basketball courts, an outdoor swimming pool, softball field, and play equipment.

Klondike Park

Klondike Park sits on 12.83 acres adjacent to Sexton Community Center at 1235 Brown. The park features a playground ballfield, play equipment, and an indoor basketball court.

Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park sits on 34 acres at Hamilton Community Center at 1363 W. Person. The park features a pavilion, play equipment, two basketball courts, one baseball field and a picnic area.

McFarland Park

McFarland Park sits on 11 acres adjacent to McFarland Community Center at 4955 Cottonwood. The park features one basketball court, one lighted baseball field, and play equipment.

Magnolia Park

Magnolia Park is a small park next to Simon/Boyd Community Center at 2130 Wabash. It features an indoor basketball court.

Peabody Park

Peabody Park is a 3.38-acre park that sits next to Raymond Skinner Handicapped Center at 712 Tanglewood. The park features a pavilion, play equipment, an indoor swimming pool with handicapped access and an indoor basketball court.

Pickett Park

Pickett Park sits on 11.58 acres adjacent to the North Frayser Community Center at 2555 St. Elmo. The park features a walking trail, playground, indoor and outdoor basketball courts and a pavilion.

Pierotti Park

Pierotti Park sits on 25 acres adjacent to Raleigh Community Center at 3678 Powers Road. The park features a swimming pool, tennis center with eight lighted outdoor courts, play equipment, an indoor basketball court and an outdoor lighted basketball court.

Pine Hill Park

Pine Hill Park sits on 160.76 acres adjacent to Pine Hill Community Center at 973 Alice. The park includes one indoor basketball court, an outdoor lighted basketball court, play equipment, a swimming pool and The Links at Pine Hill, an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse.

Riverview Park

Riverview Park is a 27.72-acre park adjacent to Riverview Community Center at 1981 Kansas. The park includes an indoor basketball court, play equipment and playground ballfield, pavilion, half-mile fitness trail and a swimming pool that is located at 182 Joubert Ave.

Roosevelt Park

Roosevelt Park is a 12-acre park adjacent to Mitchell Community Center at 658 Mitchell. The park includes an indoor basketball court.

Sea Isle Park

Sea Isle Park is a 12.4-acre park adjacent to McWherter Senior Citizens Center at 5220 Sea Isle. The park includes an indoor basketball court, lighted softball field, play equipment, 1-mile fitness trail and three soccer fields.

Dave Wells Park

Dave Wells Park sits on 1.78 acres at Dave Wells Community Center at 915 Chelsea. The park includes play equipment.

Westwood Park

Westwood Park sits on 16.2 acres adjacent to Charles Powell – Westwood Community Center at 810 Western Park. The park includes an indoor basketball court, one outdoor basketball court, play equipment, swimming pool, playground ballfield and a half-mile fitness trail.

Whitehaven Park

Whitehaven Park sits on 20 acres adjacent to Whitehaven Community Center at 4318 Graceland. The park features one indoor basketball court, play equipment, a pavilion, playground football field and ballfield, a half-mile fitness trail and the Roarke Tennis Center, which features eight outdoor and four indoor courts.

J.T. Willingham Park

J.T. Willingham Park sits on 10 acres adjacent to Cunningham Community Center at 3773 Old Allen Road. The park features one indoor basketball court.

Willow Park

Willow Park sits on 58.7 acres adjacent to Marion Hale Community Center at 4971 Willow Road. The park features an indoor basketball court, one outdoor basketball court, play equipment, a swimming pool, soccer field, three lighted softball fields, one baseball field and a bike route starting point.
