Christy Pingleton is a former writer for TripSavvy for one year. She has authored hundreds of published magazine articles and is an editor for Wiley Publishing, where she specializes in editing For Dummies books for the consumer market. She also has 19 years of experience as a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader, working for numerous national publishers.

She has made Indianapolis her home for the past 30-plus years. She grew up in and raised three children of her own in the Hoosier capital.


Christy Pingleton earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, with a major in journalism and minors in business administration and home economics.
