Chris Carney is a former writer with TripSavvy. He moved to Las Vegas in 2003 and spent three years writing about travel in Las Vegas. His work has also appeared in Las Vegas Magazine, Hard Rock Hotel Magazine, AOL Travel, and For an article in Nevada Magazine, he surprised some with his choices for the Ten Most Influential Entertainers in Las Vegas History.

Since 2000, Chris has worked as a content specialist and creative executive. In this role, he has developed and written numerous scripts, outlines, and treatments, for a variety of film, TV, and commercial productions.

Chris wrote his first book entitled "How to Save $500 (Or More) On Your Next Trip to Las Vegas" in 2014. He has since turned to writing science fiction novels including the 2018 release, "Barrow King: The Realms Book One."


Chris is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English. He was also educated at Regent's College in London, England and the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
