Chris Abell is the Senior Commerce Editor at TripSavvy. He has worked at travel companies large and small, including Travel + Leisure, where he was Editorial Producer, and walkli, where he was the cofounder and Director of Content. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and went on to receive his master's in creative writing from Dartmouth College. He joined TripSavvy in 2021 and lives in Boston with his family.


Chris has been a professional writer and editor for close to a decade, and he has worked in the travel industry for most of that time. He was Editorial Producer and Travel + Leisure, where we wrote and edited content, helped curate the website and newsletters, and assisted with web production. He later cofounded and served as Director of Content for travel startup walkli, which he helped grow into a revenue-driving business. He has also written for a variety of publications including The Points Guy, Thrillist, and more.


Chris attended College of the Holy Cross for his Bachelor of Arts and Dartmouth College for a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, with a focus on writing.
