Cruises Cruise Lines Explore the Outdoor Common Areas of the Celebrity Solstice Cruise Ship By Linda Garrison Linda Garrison Linda Paull Garrison is a travel writer who has taken over 150 cruises and spent over 1,100 days at sea. TripSavvy's editorial guidelines Updated on 06/06/19 Share Pin Email The Celebrity Solstice has one exclusive feature not found on other cruise ships - the Lawn Club - a half acre of finely manicured grass growing atop the ship. This green space is mostly for walking, sitting, putting, or just enjoying the park-like atmosphere. The Lawn Club is not the only distinctive element outdoors on the Celebrity Solstice. The Resort Deck has three pools - the Solarium, the Sports Pool, and the Family Pool. The adults-only indoor Solarium is beautiful, especially at night when the fountain changes colors. Also, next to the Family Pool is a fun fountain for children named the Wet Zone. The Celebrity Solstice also has a basketball court, jogging track, and plenty of comfortable deck chairs for sunning. While the kids are playing in the Wet Zone fountain, adults will enjoy the lounge area atop the ship on the Solstice Deck. It has terrific sun beds. Let's take a look at some of these outdoor areas on the Celebrity Solstice. 01 of 17 Celebrity Solstice Hot Glass Show Linda Garrison The Corning Museum of Glass operates the Hot Glass Show at the Lawn Club on the Celebrity Solstice.
