    Celebrity Solstice: Cabin Variety

    In addition to its famous outdoor Lawn Club on the top deck, the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship has gorgeous dining venueslounges and bars, and common areas, and its accommodations are top notch. The ship's cabins are about 15 percent larger than Celebrity ships in other classes, and they come equipped with plenty of storage space, digital in-stateroom entertainment, and upscale baths.

    The 1,426 Celebrity Solstice cabins come in 11 different categories and range in size from 183 to 1,291 square feet. Add a giant veranda to the largest penthouse suite and you have a 1,676-square-foot space.

    The 130 AquaClass cabins are on the spa deck (deck 11 forward) and are the same size and configuration as the deluxe ocean view veranda cabins. But these cabins come with nicer amenities and extra features that should make them attractive to those looking fora more upscale cruising experience.

    The Celebrity Solstice interior cabins range in size from 183 to 200 square feet. The inside cabins that are wheelchair accessible have 245 square feet. Wireless internet is available for a fee.

    The interior cabins have several nice standard features that include the following:

    • Two beds that are convertible to queen-size
    • Interlocking doors (in some staterooms)
    • Vanity
    • Interactive flat-panel television

    Deluxe Ocean-View Cabins

    The Celebrity Solstice has 70 ocean-view cabins with windows (no balconies) and 719 deluxe ocean view cabins with balconies, called verandas, and some of these are wheelchair accessible. The ocean-view cabins are 176 square feet (289 square feet in the accessible cabins), and the deluxe ocean view with verandas are 192 square feet with a 54-square-foot-balcony. The accessible deluxe cabins are 299 square feet with an 80-square-foot balcony.

    Standard features in a deluxe ocean view cabin with a balcony on the Celebrity Solstice include are the same as inside cabins except they also have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open onto a balcony. Regular ocean-view cabins have the same features with a window rather than sliding doors and a balcony.

    AquaClass Cabin With Veranda

    The AquaClass cabins are found on Deck 11 forward, near the AquaSpa. Four of the AquaClass cabins are wheelchair accessible.

    The AquaClass cabins are identical in size to the deluxe ocean-view cabins with a balcony and include all the amenities of deluxe ocean view cabins.

    The AquaClass cabins have several special features that set them apart from the other balcony cabins, many of which stress a health-and-wellness-oriented cruising experience. The AquaClass cabin passengers have a special color-coded SeaPass card that gives them unlimited access to the AquaSpa relaxation room and the Persian Garden. Special perks include:

    • Guaranteed complimentary dining in the specialty restaurant Blu
    • Five-head Hansgrohe "shower tower" in the bath
    • Use of plush Frette robes and slippers
    • European-style bedding and choice of pillow from the pillow menu

    The two Penthouse Suites are the best rooms in the house. With 1,291 square feet and a 398-square-foot veranda, they are as big as many apartments.
