In London, St Patrick's Day is celebrated on the Sunday closest to March 17. The city hosts a flamboyant St Patrick's Day Parade and Festival.

St. Patrick's Day London Parade:

2017 Date: Sunday March 19, 2017.

The parade begins at Green Park at 12 p.m. and the 1.5-mile route runs past a number of London landmarks including Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and the Ritz. 

The St. Patrick's Day Parade features marching bands, Irish dancers, live music and groups representing the Irish Counties. There is also plenty of street theater around the streets of central London. It's a fun family day out.
