Watch a St. Patrick's Day Parade
On Sunday March 20th you’ll have your choice of attending one of the two St. Patrick’s Day parades in Brooklyn. At 1pm, watch the 41st Annual Brooklyn St. Patrick's Day Parade from Bartel Pritchard Circle in Park Slope. The parade goes down 15th Street toward 7th Avenue to Garfield Place. If you’re in Bay Ridge, be sure to go to the Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which runs through Bay Ridge, the reviewing stand is in 77th and 3rd Avenue, where kids can also get free shamrocks painted on their face. Both parades are local community events and are a great way to celebrate the holiday like a local.

See Leprechaun at Sydicated
It's only three bucks to see Leprechaun, the 1993 classic starring Jennifer Aniston, at Syndicated, with showings at 5:30, 7:30, 9:30 & 11:30pm. This Bushwick movie theater also serves meals and cocktails. Soak up the booze with some green food like marinated kale.

Laugh at a Comedy Show at the Bell House
Enjoy a night of laughter as Reductress presents The St. Patrick's Day Wellness Retreat at the Bell House in the Gowanus. The shows starts at 8pm, and is hosted by Michelle Buteau (Comedy Central), Michelle Wolf (Late Night With Seth Myers) and Julio Torres (Comedy Central).

Have Bangers & Mash at Rocky Sullivans
Although you'll have to wait until the weekend to score an Irish Breakfast at Rocky Sullivans, you can definitely spend St. Patty's Day dining on Bangers & Mash and Beef & Guinness Stew at this beloved Irish pub in Red Hook. On Thursdays, Rocky Sullivan's hosts a pub quiz at 8pm.
