Celebrate International Museum Day 2017 With Free Admission

Arizona Museums Participate in Museum Month

Each May The International Council of Museums designates a day as International Museum Day. In 2017, International Museum Day is celebrated on or around May 18. The theme for 2017 is "Museums and contested histories: Saying the unspeakable in museums." Several Central Arizona Museums host special events throughout the month of May to focus attention on our wonderful museums.

Of course, we have many exciting museums in the Greater Phoenix area that offer free admission on a regular basis, and some are free every day. See a list of Phoenix area museums with free admission.

I will add more museums to this list as the day approaches. Check back!
