Carquest Auto Parts NHRA Nationals Hot Rods Race

This NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event is the second of the season. Racers reach speeds in excess of 300 miles per hour. This includes the classes of Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Did you know that there are more than 40,000 licensed NHRA drivers that compete at 130 NHRA member tracks across the U.S.? If you love drag racing, this is the event for you!

The NHRA Nationals in Arizona are now hosted by the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park located on the Gila River Indian Community. It used to be called Firebird Raceway. It's at the same location, in Chandler.

When Are the NHRA Arizona Nationals?

They typically occur in February. Be sure to check out the full NHRA schedule.

Also, remember to check the opening times for the midway and gates.

How to Get Tickets Including Reserved Plus

You can order tickets by phone at 877-840-0457 or online. You can also buy tickets at the box office. Advance prices are somewhat less than tickets purchased in the week before the race or at the gate, but there are online transaction fees.

You may purchase:

• General Admission tickets
• Reserved Plus tickets
• Pit tickets

Children 12 and under are free to general admission areas with a paid adult. A maximum of four (4) free child general admissions per paid adult are allowed.

Three-day general admission packages and three-day reserved-plus packages are also available to purchase.
