Best Overall: Couples Tower Isle, Jamaica
Located on 19 acres of prime beachfront property in Ochos Rios, Couples Tower Isle is an all-inclusive resort with a romantic approach to nudism. Clothing is required in the main resort, but nakedness is mandatory on offshore Au Naturel Island.
Spend the day sunbathing in perfect privacy without any fear of tan lines, or meet like-minded travelers at the swim-up pool bar. There are plenty of other pools and Jacuzzis on the mainland, while island excursions, cruises, tennis, golf, and watersports are all included in your rate.
Oasis Spa is another highlight, offering indulgent experiences for singles and couples. If you stay in one of eight Oasis Spa Villas, you’ll enjoy unlimited complimentary spa treatments, too.
All rooms and suites are decorated in vintage pastels and boast plush, King beds, furnished private balconies or patios, and a personalized mini-bar. In terms of dining and entertainment, take your pick of six restaurants and five bars. Head to Eight Rivers for Jamaican cuisine, or dance until the early hours at The Lounge nightclub.
Best All-Nude: Hidden Beach Resort, Mexico
Tucked away in a secluded spot on the Riviera Maya, Hidden Beach Resort markets itself as the only five-star, adults-only, nudist resort in Mexico.
It is the destination of choice if you want to be able to enjoy all the facilities, activities, and restaurants au naturel. The resort’s small size helps to foster an atmosphere of intimate seclusion, while a no photography rule encourages privacy and respect at all times. Rates include accommodations, all meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a daily and nightly activity program.
Choose to spend your days frolicking in the resort pool, with its lazy river and swim-up bar, or join a Spanish or mixology class. You can also go snorkeling, then stay up late with live music and performances every evening.
There are two bars and two restaurants to choose from: La Vista Restaurant serves a la carte breakfasts, lunches, and dinner, while Moonlight Bar, Vida Loca, is famous for its themed events. All suites come with a King bed, a hot tub for two, and magnificent ocean views.
Best Topless: Temptation Cancun Resort, Mexico
The adults-only, all-inclusive Temptation Cancun Resort is the ideal choice for singles and couples in search of sexy fun.
Located on the shores of Mexico’s most popular Caribbean resort city, it features topless optional areas, including both pools, the beach, and the Sky 3.5 bar. Every evening, Bash nightclub hosts a different themed party, encouraging you to go glam and dance before undressing in the topless optional Jacuzzi.
During the day, Play Makers host an over-the-top program of adult-centric entertainment. Head to the Sexy Pool for pumping music and memorable pool parties, or wind down at the Quiet Pool. Your rates also include a range of non-motorized watersports.
When you need to refuel, head to one of nine dining outlets, which together offer round-the-clock cuisine from 15 different culinary cultures. SHE stands out for its erotic couples’ dining experiences. There are six bars on site, and all rooms and suites have their own mini-bar. Book one of The Tower rooms and suites for the full VIP experience.
Best for Couples: Desire Riviera Maya Resort, Mexico
Desire Riviera Maya Resort is another all-inclusive option with the same sexually-charged atmosphere as Hedonism II. The only difference: This resort is exclusively reserved for couples.
The beautiful beachfront has clothing-optional and nude areas, while the au naturel outdoor rooftop Jacuzzi and lounge is a hot spot for releasing your inhibitions. Play Makers lead guests in daily activities that range from non-motorized watersports to Art of Touch workshops. Plus, there’s even a catamaran that can be booked for naked cruises.
Couples that really want to expand their sexual horizons can do so with the help of the resort’s Fantasy Menu, which offers the chance to fulfil your deepest desires in a safe environment. Every evening, provocative entertainment is offered, while the nightclub hosts signature theme nights (think Masters & Mistresses or the Mysterious Masquerade).
In between parties, detox with a side-by-side massage at the spa, or rekindle your romance over dinner at one of four gourmet restaurants. Standard in-room amenities include a King bed and a cable TV with erotic channels.
Best for Exploration: Hedonism II, Jamaica
Negril’s Hedonism II is an all-inclusive, adults-only, lifestyle-friendly resort that lives up to its motto “Your Pleasure is Our Passion.”
By openly encouraging guests to explore their most sensual side, it has earned a reputation as a playground for singles, swingers, and open-minded couples wanting to take their sex life to the next level.
The resort is split into two sides: the “prude” side where clothing is optional and behavior is a little more restrained, and the “nude” side, where nudity is mandatory and displays of public intimacy are common.
Both sides offer a choice of pools and hot tubs. Sign up for tantric massage experiences and expert-led erotic workshops at the Kama Sutra Palace, or opt for a more conventional massage at the spa.
During the day, activities range from volleyball and sailing to scuba diving and tennis. By night, sensual shows and striptease performances take center stage. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, head to adult playroom, the Romping Shop. Clothing is required in Hedonism II’s multiple restaurants and bars.
Best Boutique: Grand Lido Negril, Jamaica
If you’re in search of a boutique resort whose small size makes it easy to feel comfortable in your own skin, look no further than Grand Lido Negril.
Located in a private and protected setting on the Negril oceanfront, this all-inclusive, clothing-optional resort caters exclusively to adults and has just 26 luxury suites.
All of them are ocean-facing and include a private terrace, or balcony and butler service. Jetted spa tubs come standard, but for the most indulgent experience, consider upgrading to one with swim-out pool access.
Included activities range from snorkeling and kayaking to introductory scuba lessons. You can hang out at the au naturel swim-up pool bar, or feast on classic Jamaican cuisine at the poolside grill.
Most of the resort’s facilities (including the spa, beach, and additional restaurants) are located at the nearby Royalton Negril and Hideaway at Royalton Negril resorts, to which you have free access. Enjoy unlimited dining and drinking at restaurants like Dorado for seafood and grilled meats and the West Indies-inspired Calypso.
Best Luxury: Couples San Souci, Jamaica
If you’re looking for uninterrupted luxury that’s a little less explicit, consider Couples San Souci.
Perched above the ocean in Ochos Rios, it’s a resort that also caters to those that like to be clothes-free, with au naturel Sunset Beach. Here (but nowhere else on the property) nudity is mandatory. You can soak up the sun at the beach, cool off with a dip in the pool, or order cocktails at the swim-up bar. All drinks and meals are covered by the resort’s all-inclusive rates.
In total, there are five restaurants and seven bars. Palazzina serves bistro-style global fare on an elegant open-air terrace, while Casanova is your choice for romantic, haute cuisine dinners in a colonial setting.
During the day, take part in fitness and dance classes, nature walks, watersports and scuba diving, or relax with a treatment at the award-winning spa. All 150 suites offer a luxurious, yet laid-back beach theme with a private furnished balcony or patio and a personalized mini-bar.
Best Laid-Back: Hawksbill by Rex Resorts, Antigua
The adults-only Hawksbill by Rex Resorts is the kind of place that appeals to travelers who prioritize a remote location and abundant natural beauty, over glitzy mega-resort facilities.
It’s set directly on the beach amid 37 acres of landscaped tropical gardens. And, the resort provides access to four secluded beaches, including the only clothing-optional one in the whole of Antigua. There’s also a swimming pool and tennis court, and activities available either on-site or nearby range from deep-sea fishing and horse riding, to boat cruises and spa treatments.
Beachfront rooms and suites are decorated in old-fashioned Caribbean style, which some reviewers find to be charmingly rustic while others say they’re dated. For groups, The Great House is an exciting option, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a wraparound balcony.
All meals are included in your rates. Head to informal, open-air restaurant Tamarind Tree for buffet breakfasts and dinners, or to Sea Grape Restaurant & Bar for grill lunches at the beach. Clothing is required in all dining areas.
Best for Nature Lovers: The Natural, Curaçao
The Natural enjoys an elevated, breeze-kissed location in the center of Curaçao. And, as the name suggests, it's a haven for those that shed their clothes in order to feel closer to nature.
Although it is designed with conscious-living naturists in mind, clothing is optional for those that aren’t sure if they’ll feel comfortable fully nude. The resort is respectful of the environment, with solar panels, a water recycling system, a saltwater swimming pool, and a decidedly low-impact approach to tourism and hospitality.
Spend sunny days lounging by the pool, or submit to the healing hands of one of the resort’s expert massage therapists. A rental Jeep is available for accessing local beaches and shore diving locations, while scuba courses and other nature-inspired activities can be arranged by the resort’s owners upon request.
You can also ask for advice about the best local beaches, although none of these are currently nudist-friendly. As there’s no restaurant, booking a studio, safari tent, or bungalow with a full kitchen is a good idea.
