There's nothing quite as deafening in these parts as Montreal's Bell Centre filled with roaring Habs fans. They're feisty, they're engaged, and they have a reputation for rabid home team support -- and superhero costume fetishes -- in and out of hockey arenas, and they multiply like bunnies in heat during playoffs, when fair weather masses wake up from their regular season slumber to join an already massive troop of proud Canadiens die-hards.
But words don't describe their energy quite as well as pictures. Below are shots of assorted Canadiens fans taken during the 2010 NHL Playoff Season, the 2009-2010 regular season and the 2008 playoffs, which some of you may remember was plagued by one riot that made international headlines due to a cop car set on fire after the Habs beat long-time rivals the Boston Bruins in Game 7, Round 1.
