This beloved pub & restaurant located on Bedford Avenue between Clinton Hill and Bed Stuy has some of the best happy hour specials in the city. Prosecco lovers (I am one!) should head to Black Swan on Wednesdays for their $15 unlimited prosecco happy hour, which also includes $3 grilled cheese sandwiches. Don't like Mondays? On Mondays, Black Swan gives folks 1/2 off all bottles of wine. Other happy hour deals include $5 beers and glasses of wine and $3 shots.
Every Monday, Lavender Lake has an all day happy hour. In fact this past Monday, I indulged in a $2 beer in their airy atmospheric deck, where they were projecting a film against the wall. The bar and restaurant in the Gowanus is a hipster haunt, and has great deals on food and drinks. On Wednesdays they offer $25 select bottles of wine and 1/2 pound of Mussels. On Thursdays, they have growlers of select beers and a meat and cheese board for $25. If you're a vegetarian, I suggest you order the Morrissey (obviously this is a veggie sandwich) and stick to the standard drink specials.
This local favorite in Red Hook has over 50 beers on the men, and a happy hour that runs from 12pm-8pm. The folks at Brooklyn Icehouse offer a dollar off drinks during happy hour, but you should note that the drinks aren't too pricey at this Brooklyn bar. Enjoy a brew in the backyard, and if you find yourself in need of some good eats, order a pulled pork sandwich. The bar is located on 318 Van Brunt Street.
Wolf and Deer
This Park Slope bar has a happy hour that runs from 5-8pm Sunday through Friday. Enjoy $4 draft beer, $6 glasses of red or white wine, a $9 cocktail, and $12 for 3 cheeses or 3 meats. On Thursdays, they serve $1 oysters. The bar has a very laid back friendly vibe, where you can strike up a conversation with folks at their U-shaped bar.
