Bowie Baysox Stadium, also referred to as the Prince George's Stadium, is home to the Bowie Baysox, a minor league baseball team that is a Baltimore Orioles' AA affiliate in the Eastern League. The state-of-the-art facility seats 10,000 spectators and is a cooperative venture between Maryland Baseball Limited Partnership and Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Amenities include concession stands, souvenir shops, a restaurant, a carousel, group picnic areas, and a children's play area.
The stadium and parking lot are available for public rental. Most games are 9-innings and last about 2.5 hours.
Minor league baseball games provide a family-friendly setting and a great opportunity to introduce younger children to America's favorite pastime. The Bowie Baysox Stadium offers special events for kids, youth baseball camps and birthday party opportunities. The stadium and parking lot are also available for public rental.
Bowie Baysox Tickets and Schedules
SIngle tickets, group tickets, and full season tickets are available for purchase. The 2017 season will begin on Thursday, April 13 at 6:35 p.m. with seven games against the Harrisburg Senators and the Richmond Flying Squirrels. During the season, the Baysox will play 70 home games over 13 homestands, concluding with the home finale Thursday, August 31 against the Trenton Thunder. Games will be held Monday through Thursday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m. from April through late June.
Friday games will be at 7:05 p.m. In July and August, the majority of games Monday through Thursday will be moved back to 7:05 p.m. All Saturday games will continue to be played at 6:35 p.m. and all Sunday home games will begin at 2:05 p.m. There will be some exceptions to these times, so be sure to verify the schedule when purchasing your ticket.

The Bowie Baysox Stadium is located in Prince George's County, Maryland and is easily accessible from I-495. It is located just south of the interchange of Rts. 301 and 50 at Green Branch Community Park. From the Capital Beltway (I-495), Take U.S. 50 East at MD 197 South. Turn left onto 301 North, then right at the first light into Ballpark Drive. For driving directions from other locations around the region, see a map and directions. Parking is free and available by turning right at the second light onto Governors Bridge Road.
Independence Day Celebration
Each year on the 4th of July, the Bowie Baysox host their popular Independence Day Barbecue, an apple pie eating contest, a display from a charitable organization that benefits veterans and an extended fireworks display. Fans can enjoy the game along with a two-hour buffet including grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, corn on the cob, barbecue baked beans, chips, watermelon and soft drinks. Advance tickets are required.
