Bonnie Burgess is a former writer for TripSavvy, contributing content for over a year. She has kept up with travel industry changes for over two decades and continues to remain current with travel and tourism updates. She has worked over 15 years at an on-site agency working in direct contact with clients and has been office manager for four of those years and the Hawaii Department and Training Manager for another two years. Bonnie then worked independently for the same travel agency for over 10 years. She taught classes about the travel industry including classes about Hawaii, cruises and packing tips

She uses computer skills in the travel reservation systems and managing an office. A good knowledge of photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator has also been a great help in her career. She has used this in writing travel brochures for groups and instructional pamphlets for travelers.


Bonnie Burgess graduated with an Associate of Arts degree at Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1979. She received a Travel and Tourism diploma in 1980, then took several business management classes at Park College from 1996–1997.
