Suzanne Name is a former writer for TripSavvy, authoring 64 articles on Thailand travel in her nearly five years with the site.

Suzanne has lived in Bangkok since 2004 and has written two guidebooks about travel in the country. In her first year there, she worked as a newspaper reporter, which provided the opportunity to explore the country's culture, scenery, and food. Since then, she has written for numerous news publications and occasionally gives interviews on international radio and TV news programs.


Suzanne earned a master’s degree at the Columbia School of Journalism in New York.
