9 Best Wellness Spas in the U.S. and Mexico

Improve Your Health With Good Food and Exercise at a Destination Spa

Destination spas are a select group of health spas that help you renew, relax and reconnect with what you really want from life. Destination spas are all-inclusive, with accommodations, meals, classes, and lectures all part of the package and (sometimes) a credit towards spa treatments.

Prices for destination spas start around $300 per person, per day, (double occupancy) at the Red Mountain Spa in Ivins, Utah, and go up to a stratospheric $9,000 for a week-long stay at Cal-A Vie or Golden Door near San Diego. Here are my picks for the best destination spas. For budget travel, see best budget destination spas.
