Tumbling a plane seems unnatural but it's a lot of fun. Get in a plane and take the controls with Sky Combat Ace and you will question your sanity and your ability to hold down your lunch. The most exhilarating attraction in Las Vegas and well worth the cost. Do it and then do it again! You fly with trained pilots who guide through the small things you have to learn to fly an airplane. Once you are airborne you take the controls and attempt stunts and drops and spins that will change the way you feel about flying forever. This is the best thing to do in Las Vegas but be warned that you have to have a strong stomach for this adventure.
Why would anyone want to leap off the top of a tower and head straight down to the Las Vegas Strip? Maybe the question I should be asking is why wouldn’t you? 829 feet of decelerated free fall and you are treated to an adrenaline rush that only Las Vegas can give you. The view before you jump is worth the elevated adrenaline alone but the feeling of flying as you rush down toward the Las Vegas strip is why you do this.
The stratosphere gives you three opportunities to thrill yourself into an alcohol-induced coma. Try Big Shot, Insanity and/or X-Scream and soon you'll realize that thrills are what Las Vegas should be famous for. If you fear heights you should know that all of these attractions are up high on the stratosphere tower so when you scream nobody down below will hear you.
In case you have never seen it, Jeeps can scale sheer rock cliffs. When I jumped into one of the Las Vegas Rock Crawlers’ Jeep for my off-road experience I didn’t believe it but no sooner than I had started the engine and placed the Jeep in drive I was on a rock with rubber to sandstone and my heart in my throat.
