In this 35-block shopping and entertainment district, you’ll find everything from nationally-known brands to offbeat boutiques. And, even if you don’t see the Kimbell Art Museum's collection (which you absolutely should), you should still pop into the museum’s shop for one-of-a-kind art goodies.

This popular record shop is an iconic part of Fort Worth’s musical heritage. Family-owned Record Town opened its doors in 1957 and has been providing music lovers of all ages with one of the best vinyl and CD collections in the country ever since. They have a wonderful selection that’s brimming with hard-to-find records, contemporary releases, and classics. You’re bound to discover some great musical finds here.

If you’ll be in town on a weekend, head to the Cattle Barn Flea Market, a huge indoor market with well over 40 vendors selling everything from jewelry to coins to vintage clothing. Stockyards

You can’t come to Fort Worth without visiting the Stockyards; it is one of the most popular attractions in Texas. This historic cattle district is steeped in cowboy history, and there’s plenty to do here to keep you occupied for days on end, from restaurants and saloons to live music and entertainment—and, oh yeah, plenty of shopping.

Of the more than 30 shops scattered around the Stockyards, some standouts include Billy Bob’s Texas Gift Shop, Chief Records, Cross-Eyed Moose, Longhorn General Store, Knife Alley, and Home on the Range. Of course, we have to mention a couple must-see western clothing shops. Maverick Fine Western Wear and Fincher’s White Front Western Wear are both located in the Stockyards; the former is billed as the only Western wear resale shop in Fort Worth.

Bridging the Cultural District and downtown, West 7th is chock-full of cool, unique shops and there’s a lot to explore in this buzzy, pedestrian-friendly, five-block urban village. Other than sipping craft cocktails, channeling your inner foodie, and hitting the hottest brunch spots in town, head down Crockett Row to Climate, a beloved outdoor goods store that carries clothing and accessories for the beach and the mountains. Then stroll along Foch Street to pop into Urban Outfitters and There’s No Place Like Home Furniture, a funky home decor shop.

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is well worth your time, but you really can’t miss the Cowgirl Shop at the museum. It has something for everyone (provided you’re buying for people who like Western gear), with its vast, curated selection of hats, belts, clothing, cards, books, home decor, and children’s products. Some select gifts include a Georgia O’Keeffe watercolors set, a Buffalo Bill DVD set, A Laura Ingalls Wilder biography, and a “Campfire Girls” silk scarf, among many other awesome finds.
