But nightlife fuels Las Vegas. This is why you took that disco nap—because the party doesn’t really start until late. In recent years, Las Vegas has diversified its nightlife offerings. The best late-night scenes don’t necessarily require you to petition for entry in line behind a drunken bachelorette party (although this scenario is ultimately inevitable, unless you’ve learned how to navigate the club scene like a pro). In a testament to the owners’ faith in clubbers to drink around wildly expensive art, you’ll mingle with life-size humanoids made with assemblages of found objects and suspended in massive resin blocks. The intimate (by Vegas standards) club opens into a patio of VIP tables. Sitting 11 stories above the Strip, the 35,000-square-foot party zone is the place to be for its daytime pool scene, but it glows at night under towering palms. Featuring 150 tables, eight pools (including five bungalow pools), and one of the best views in Vegas, Drai's is also known to throw one epic night swim party. Pair this with great cocktails, several bars, and a big dance floor, and you have the makings of one of the best spaces in Las Vegas. But it's the adjacent Skyfall Lounge—where warm, rich tones amplify the desert sunsets—that will draw you in for specialty twilight cocktails (return for a post-dinner nightcap). The lounge is large enough to take in the views, especially on the patio, but consider making a reservation to get a table. There are ample things to do, even for non-golfers. In the summer, its Hideaway Pool—with swim-up bar, luxurious cabanas, and full food and beverage service—offers one of the best nightlife bets on the weekends. And for them, we present VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub & Lounge, 51 stories atop the Rio. It offers one of Vegas’ best—and most underrated—views, since Rio looks towards the Strip. And with its off-Strip location, its vibe is more relaxed than many of its Strip counterparts.
