Across the street from Lambeau Field, Hinterland Brewery’s new restaurant and tap room (since 2017) is a buzzy scene even when it’s not a game day. The loft format has a rustic decor, evident immediately from the taxidermy and retractable-garage doors. Aromas wafting out from the open kitchen reveal the menu’s vast array of items, including inventive wood-fired pizzas and a Japanese salmon dish (togarashi-dusted North Road salmon alongside clamshell mushrooms). Go for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, or on game days, and home game days, a special menu is offered.

With 80 beers on tap, entrees offering cheesy goodness (try the stone-baked pretzel dipped in Blue Moon beer cheese or the “green and gold” flatbread topped with cheese curds), and farm-to-table menu items, 1919 Kitchen & Tap is more like a night out than a quick bite before a game. Take a seat at one of the drafting-chair bar stools and really get in the spirit of the game and the home team by ordering a dish with strong Wisconsin roots, such as Elk Stroganoff or the Definitive Brown County Old Fashioned.

The cocktail list is mostly locally inspired (for example, order the “Frozen Tundra” or the “Wisconsin Mule”), and it showcases the distillery's spirits, which include cherry-flavored vodka and non-flavored vodka, with plans to expand into whiskey and gin. Until then, an impressive line-up of Wisconsin craft beers (such as Rhinelander Brewing Company’s Chocolate Bunny Stout) should quench your thirst.

With three locations around the state, this one on Holmgren Way is so close to Lambeau Field. Open for dinner only, the menu dances between sushi and the hibachi table. Order the hibachi dinner and you'll be satisfied all game long, as it includes an entrée, soup, salad, hibachi veggies, flaming shrimp, rice, tea, and sherbet. (There’s even a children’s hibachi menu for the tiniest of Packers fans.) If someone in your group doesn’t care for maki, sashimi, or nigiri, or doesn’t eat fish, the sushi menu also includes entrees like soba noodles, vegetable tempura, and Japanese curry, plus five vegetarian options. Cocktails here are fun as well, with a tropical-Tiki twist on some.

Now with a second location in Sherwood, this old-school Texas BBQ joint near Lambeau Field was founded by Texas-born Joe Lopez and is now in the trusty hands of Jaimes Barnes. While ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are the main thrust here, the sides are also a draw, including mac and cheese, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. If you really want to tailgate but can’t, this is your next best option for a similar vibe (and food). It’s also worth noting that a catered buffet of two meats and two sides runs just $12 a person if you do want to take it to Lambeau Field.

This also means the menu (mix of pizza and pasta, mostly) features a ton of family recipes. Many people like to create a DIY pizza thanks to a list of 30 toppings. You can also opt for one of the 14 signature pizzas, from a meat lover’s “Carne” to every vegetarian’s dream (simply named “Vegetarian”), and gluten-free crusts and kid-friendly pizzas are also available.

Entrees are a full-meal experience as they come with two side dishes and a buttered dinner roll.
