Best Beachfront for Couples or Friends: Palace Resort Condo

Palace Resort Condo

 AirBnB

Bedrooms (1)

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation rental in the Palace Resort, set halfway between the SkyWheel and Myrtle Beach State Park, can fit up to six guests. However, we recommend it for couples who want to spread out with the extra space, or friends who are looking for a little extra privacy.

Unlike many units in Myrtle Beach, this condo features refreshingly modern decor. It’s located on the seventh floor of the tower, which means it offers great ocean views from its private balconies.

The resort also has quite a number of amenities for guests, including two pools, hot tubs, a fitness center with a sauna and steam room, an arcade, and an on-site restaurant and bar. And to top it all off, there’s direct beach access, so the ocean is just a few steps away.

Best Budget for Groups and Families: Orange Beach Cottage

Orange Beach Cottage

AirBnB

Bedrooms (3)

While Myrtle Beach as a whole is a pretty budget-friendly destination, we’re particularly impressed with this colorful three-bedroom cottage, located one block from the beach and only about five miles south of Broadway at the Beach entertainment complex. The rental starts can fit up to 11 guests, so if you’re sharing the rate between friends, a night’s sleep isn’t going to be too costly.

Guests are treated to a private backyard with a grill, complimentary use of beach chairs and umbrellas, two parking spaces, and a shared pool for the community, which is just 290 feet from the front door.
