The Original Hob is a rustic one-room cabin on a shared property with another cabin, the super modern (but also tiny) Molly that can be rented separately or together. The two cabins each have a Queen bed plus some seating, and they share a third building that houses a small kitchen and a full bathroom.

The cabin is quite small, so guests should prepare to live closely, although it is decorated in a classic American style to be quite cozy, with black and white tiled floors, bright windows, and antique wicker furniture.

If you’re looking to disconnect for a while, this is the place to do it, as there’s no Wi-Fi or TV here. Instead, you can enjoy nature, with beaches and hiking trails to be found nearby.

The cabin is located in Oakland near the most western edge of the state, but there's still plenty to do and see in town, including a visit to the Garrett County Museum of Transportation to learn about the history of this part of the state, and how its infrastructure was built.
