Snagging a room for a decent rate on game day in Green Bay can be a challenge, especially one that offers amenities such as a free shuttle to Lambeau Field or an indoor pool (ideal for soaking after standing in the cold for hours). A few are even within a 15-minute walk. Pro tip: even if your hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle to Lambeau Field, it could be on this free shuttle route. A mix of chain and indie hotels (37 in all) are on the route.

Proximity to Lambeau Field: Across the street (0.2 miles)
Why it’s great: Want a little post-game pampering? At the spa at the 144-room Lodge Kohler (yep, the plumbing pros), some treatments involve Kohler’s custom Vichy shower, which is an ideal way to relax after cheering on the Packers in the cold. For a bite to eat, head to Taverne in the Sky where your meal is paired with windows framing the stadium view. And there are so many framed black-and-white photos of past Packers players and coaches that this is practically a mini museum. “The Packers Home Game” package (from $1,635) includes two nights, a ticket to the game, breakfasts, and one dinner.

Why it’s great: As Green Bay’s newest boutique hotel, and part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, this 160-room property reopened in February 2019. Inspired by its 1924 roots, there’s a lot of glam and edge, as seen in the two restaurants (a sports bar called Poke the Bear, stocked with Packers memorabilia; and the elegant Walnut Room for dinner) plus crisp blue-and-white décor.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Green Bay
Proximity to Lambeau Field: 0.6 miles
Why it’s great: Consistent with the SpringHill Suites brand, every guest at this hotel, which opened in 2016, gets a free breakfast and it’s far from your typical continental spread—instead, you get just-out-of-the-oven croissants, Greek yogurt, waffles, and eggs. This is a great hotel for families, as all 127 rooms have a pull-out sofa bed. (Ask for one with a view of Lambeau Field.) A mini-fridge and microwave are also in each room. Only small pets are allowed. An indoor pool is a nice perk during the cooler months and instant fun for little ones.

Why it’s great: Given that Lambeau is a wildly popular wedding site and many couples have gotten engaged at a Packers game, it’s no surprise that this cozy little bed and breakfast with only five rooms is a hot stay on Game Day. Built in 1888, each of the rooms features a private bath, and some have a gas fireplace. And when you’re ready to go to the game, simply grab the QB Sneak Peak shuttle, right from this bed and breakfast. This inn is all about comfort: breakfast can be served in the parlor or delivered to your room.
