Charlotte Regional Farmers Market
This is the Charlotte area's largest market operating year-round to bring you seasonal fresh fare. It's one of only four markets actually owned by the state of North Carolina and operated by the N.C. Department of Agriculture. Here, you'll find lots of North Carolina dairy products, eggs, meat, seafood, fruits and vegetables, specialty items, flowers, baked goods, honey, and more.

King's Drive Farmers Market
This market is cash only, and runs from April to December. Is a great source for your traditional fruits or vegetables, plus season items like pumpkins and Christmas trees. It is a bit smaller than the other area markets, but it is a great alternative.

Atherton Mill and Market
A South End Charlotte hot spot, this market is one of the city's newest. It's not the largest, but it's been called the nicest. Be sure to bring cash if you visit this market, as not all vendors accept cards. This is one of the few markets in the city that only allows local vendors.
