Are you planning a trip to downtown Little Rock? These are the best hotels in the downtown area. You can be pampered, be in the middle of the booming downtown area and/or be close to any convention or event you're planning to attend.
If you can't afford the most luxurious, you should check out the list of best budget-friendly hotels.
The Capital Hotel
The Capital Hotel is known for it's elegant and luxurious rooms, friendly staff and excellent restaurants. They get rave reviews from most travelers and also from me. They are also located pretty close to all the action and within walking distance to most of the sites including a convention center, auditorium, museums and they are just a short distance from the Clinton Library.
Little Rock Marriott
The Little Rock Marriott amenities include large flat-screen TVs, conference rooms, complimentary Internet, fitness center and sauna. The Marriott is right in the midst of the River Market and within walking distance to most of the sites including a convention center, auditorium, museums and they are just a short distance from the Clinton Library.
Although a little off the beaten path (it's not exactly as close to downtown as some of the other hotels), The Empress is worth it. The Empress is a 17th-century mansion that's been made into an Inn. It's got a lot more "Southern Charm" than any of the hotels downtown. They do have all the conveniences of modern life. Fax, Copier, and secretarial services are available.
Courtyard by Marriott Little Rock Downtown
The Courtyard by Mariott probably has the best location in the city. It's right across from the Museum of Discovery, within walking distance of the Clinton library and close to some great restaurants. feature free high-speed internet access, a spacious work area, a comfortable living space, and mini-refrigerator. Special amenities include a lounge, business library, an indoor pool and spa, and a fitness center.
Built in 1880 as a gentleman farmer's in-town estate, Rosemont is the only authentic Victorian-era farmhouse remaining in Little Rock's Quapaw Quarter Historic District. It's close to the convention center, River Market, etc. but not "walking distance." They have a nice breakfast and anytime fax & copier. Their rates are a steal.
Holiday Inn Presidential
A Holiday Inn is always a safe bet. It's pretty close to all the downtown attractions, but not what you could call "walking distance." It's about a mile from the River Market, probably 2 or 3 from the State Capital.
The Doubletree is a part of a large chain (Hilton) and is a great hotel. The cookies are the clincher! They have high-speed Internet available and you can get a room with city view or river view. Shuttle service is provided. They are within walking distance of the convention center, auditorium, museums and the River Market district.
The Crowne Plaza is in west Little Rock, so it's not as close to the downtown area as other hotels but it is only about 7 miles away from the convention center.
Hampton Inn & Suites
Located right in the middle of downtown, the Hampton has free Internet in every room, a spacious parking lot, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. There is no restaurant on site, but it's within walking distance from the River Market and its restaurants. In the winter, they have a fire pit you can relax around.
