The Best Casino Bars in Las Vegas

Cocktails to Start Your Evening in Las Vegas

The casino bar is where the evenings usually begin and often end. Right in the middle of the Casino is a place where you can meet your friends or meet new friends.  There are plenty of good ones in Las Vegas and these are a few of my favorites.

••• Fusion Mixology bar in the Palazzo Las Vegas casino.

Fusion Mixology Bar at Palazzo is not in the center of the Palazzo casino so it is not technically the casino bar however it should be. You'll find a champagne bar and a few other places to have drinks but at Fusion you'll get a proper cocktail. Talk to the bartenders on duty (they really are mixologists) and let them know what you like and they will craft a drink that will have you sitting at the bar all day.

The cocktails are all about the details at this bar at the Cromwell. It has a little bit of class and little bit of attitude and a lot of fun.

This is the type of bar that is best experienced with a conversation with the bartender. You see, they make cocktails here but they also know their job very well. Go ahead, get a lesson in drinking.

The cocktails are classic and the people behind the bar are talented.  They can craft what you like or you can have one of the favorites off the menu, either way you can be sure that

Drinks, food and a place to lounge. It really is not a casino bar as it does not have Vdara does not have a casino. It's a lobby bar but it is so good that you should check it out even if you can't play video poker while you drink.

Grab a drink and watch a game or take in the view of the Encore Pool. The Eastside lounge is a comfortable place to start or end your evening in Las Vegas. Plenty of casino bars seem too loud and lack the qualities of a place you would want to spend any considerable time at, the Eastside lounge is comfortable and has a touch of class that lends itself to a second drink. Walk around Encore Las Vegas and you'll quickly notice that casino bars surround the casino floor.

The wine list is why you stop in and then you realize the whiskey is worth trying and then you notice the cocktails coming out. Sit at the bar and you'll realize this is your new favorite Las Vegas bar.

    Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitan

The cocktail program is impressive but the real draw is the atmosphere. Surround yourself by glass high above the casino floor and just sit back and feel the vibe of the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

The Mandalay Bay Hotel has a few casino Bars and they all are perfect in their own way. The Orchid Lounge offers up pastries and coffee but right near by a bar serves up a decent Manhattan. Eyecandy Sound Lounge and Bar can get you going with music and a good way to interact with others at the bar. Do not forget Franklin at Delano where leather chairs and billiard tables make you want stiff drinks and long conversations. There is no shortage of places to grab a drink at the Mandalay Bay just remember that if there is a video poker machine on the bar put money in first and then you'll get a free drink.

Grab a seat outside either during the day or in the early evening and soak in the atmosphere. You feel elegant, almost as if you have just showered and someone gave you a sea salt scrub and then tickled your toes with the softest towel on earth. Am I describing a bar? Yeah, I know, but a few drinks in the afternoon sun does that to you. Parasol Down is so comfortable you feel like you should have one too many. If you want a true casino bar then go upstairs to Parasol Up and you'll find that bar in the heart of the casino.

With huge screens and dancing girls this place gets going and its free. This large circular bar is the type of place where the energy compels you to have a good time. Great people watching, great music and a fun atmosphere at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Too much energy? Head over toward the entrance of the casino and you'll see a smaller more convenient way to get a drink.

High energy, visually stimulating and a lot of fun. The lounge feeling gives a boost to the typical casino bar and the bartenders entice you with great drinks. The casino moves around you and the crowd gets a little loud in this casual yet upscale feeling lounge.
