Fat Tuesday is the spot to get pumped up for an amazing weekend in Miami. For those new to the area; Miami weekends generally start around Thursday lunch time and run through Sunday afternoon. Known for its lineup of frozen cocktails and daiquiris Fat Tuesday knows how to get the party started. One 190 Octane cocktail will set even the professional bartender on fire for either an unforgettable night. Or won’t that you simply won’t be able to remember. Be warned.
Once you're finished, if 5 a.m. or 8 a.m. is just too early for you to call it a night, there is always Club Madonna in South Beach and Club Space downtown. Miami is notorious for venues burning hot, and then burning out and changing names fast. These are two of the longest running spots. Club Space can go on to partying the next afternoon. So don’t be surprised if there is still a line at the door at 5 a.m. Then it’s on to the hotel or hitting the beach for a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or fishbowl sized strawberry Margarita and a little tanning and people watching. There are plenty of great downtown Miami hotels to choose from including the Four Seasons, Hilton, and InterContinental. Just don’t drink and drive. With both Uber and Lyft in Miami there is no need.
The beautiful thing about Miami is that there is a little something for everyone, and for every mood, at every time of day and night. So take advantage of it and explore the best bars in downtown Miami and more.
