Jumby Bay Island has all the ingredients for the ultimate Caribbean honeymoon. A 300-acre private island located two miles off Antigua, it’s only accessible by private catamaran. There are no cars – just perfect white-sand beaches and waving palms. Of the available full-board packages, Unforgettable Moments is the best for honeymooners. In addition to meals and drinks, you’ll receive a bottle of Champagne upon arrival, a 60-minute couples massage, a private beach dinner under the stars and a private sunset cruise.

The island keeps things intimate with just 40 rooms, suites and villas. Pool Suites set the scene for a romantic stay with a private sea-view swimming pool and a secluded garden complete with rain showers and soaking tubs. Situated on another impossibly romantic private island near Taveuni in Fiji, Laucala Island Resort has it all: lush volcanic mountains, pearlescent beaches and beautiful coral reefs. You’ll arrive by private plane and stay in one of 25 Fijian villas. Choose from several unique locations – amidst a beachfront coconut grove, perhaps, or perched on top of Nawi Mountain. The most romantic option may be the overwater villa, which sits on stilts above the emerald green lagoon. All villas have their own infinity pools and come with a buggy for exploring the island.

There are five restaurants and bars, each one showcasing ingredients from the resort’s own organic farm. Enjoy Fijian favorites at open-air Seagrass Lounge or memorable beach barbecues at Beach Bar. Private dinners in romantic al fresco locations can also be arranged. Most activities are included and range from rainforest walking tours to horseback riding, scuba diving, sunset cruises and rounds on the 18-hole golf course. The spa is a highlight, as is the Cultural Village where you can take part in authentic kava ceremonies and lovo nights.
