You can earn an additional 5,000 bonus miles if you add an authorized user to your card and make your first purchase within the first three months. To be eligible for the bonus, you can’t already have the card and you can’t have received a cardmember bonus for the card in the past 24 months.
The card pays two miles per dollar on all tickets purchased from United and one mile per dollar on everything else. The Delta Reserve Credit Card from American Express is one of the few credit cards that pays rewards to help you earn elite status. With the card, you’ll earn 10,000 Medallian Qualification Miles (MQM) and 40,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months of opening your account.
