August is a hot month in the desert, so there aren't quite as many festivals or outdoor activities as there are at other times of the year. Thankfully, the heat doesn't stop the summer bands from including Phoenix on their tours. There are still some indoor Phoenix event during August, where you can escape the summer heat.
All dates, prices, and activities mentioned are subject to change without notice.
Check the website or call to confirm information. The activities in this event calendar are appropriate for families unless otherwise indicated. If the event is free, I'll mention that, too.
