Red Brick Brewing (formerly Atlanta Brewing Company) is made right here in Atlanta and can be found in most major grocery stores and liquor stores in the area.

Tastings and tours are $10 and include a souvenir glass.

Red Brick beers are Red Brick Blonde, Red Brick Brown, Red Brick Pale Ale, Red Brick Porter and their specialty lines including Laughing Skull and the Brick Mason series with creative brews.

Perhaps Atlanta's best known beer, SweetWater has fans near and far. They craft a wide variety of beers including lots of limited-edition specialty creations. In 2011, SweetWater's facility underwent a huge overhaul creating a bigger and better experience for visitors to the brewery.

Brewery tours are $10 and include a souvenir glass and six tasting tickets. Tours run about 30 minutes and the rest of the time is for tasting.

Current Tour Schedule:

Tours take place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

SweetWater's core beer offerings include Blue, IPA, 420, Sch'wheat and Georgia Brown. Their seasonal beers include Happy Ending, Road Trip, Motor Boat, Festive Ale and Exodus Porter. They also brew limited edition "Dank Tank" beers that can be found on tap at local bars.

Monday Night Brewing

A relative newcomer to the Atlanta beer scene, Monday Night saw fast success at local bars around town with their tasty brews and clever marketing. The Monday Night crew has now opened a tasting room for beer lovers!

Tours and tastings are $10, which scores you a souvenir pint glass, with 4 complimentary 8 oz tastings and a tour of the brewery. You can even get $1 off if you bring a used necktie to donate to the wall of ties.

Decatur is also home to Three Taverns Brewery. In fact, it's right next to Blue Tarp so some brewery hopping might be in order! $12 per person includes a souvenir tasting glass, brewery tour and six 5.5oz pours of Three Taverns beers. $2 off for those who bike to the brewery!

Ok, so Terrapin isn't exactly located in Atlanta, but it's just a short drive away in Athens, GA and can make for a perfect day trip. Terrapin has a pretty extensive reach and can be found in most stores.

Tours with a souvenir glass are $10

Current Tour Schedule:

Tours are offered Wednesday - Saturday from 5:30 - 7:30 (last admission 7 p.m.), Tours are offered every half hour beginning at 6 p.m.

Year round, Terrapin brews Rye Pale Ale, Golden Ale, Hop Karma Brown IPA and Hopsecutioner IPA. Their seasonal brews include Sunray Wheat, Pumpkin Fest and Moo-Hoo. They also brew up lots of creative special editions throughout the year and take on collaborations.

There are many other Atlanta-based beer brewers that don't have large facilities for you to tour, but that's no reason not to try their delicious beers.
