Picking the right wedding dress is one of the hardest parts of a wedding. Entire television series are devoted to it.
It's probably best to limit your bridal shopping party to a few close friends. Too many people are bound to disagree on which dresses look best and leave your head spinning. Be sure to leave some wiggle room in the price for veils and accessories. The dress itself is the priciest part of your wedding attire, but not the only part. It's best to have some sort of idea in mind, so flip through a few books. You can even bring pictures. This will help the bridal salon point you in the right direction. However, most brides end up going with a dress that isn't exactly (or sometimes even close) to what they had in mind. Don't be discouraged if the perfect dress from the bridal magazine doesn't look the way expected it to once you get it on. The salon can help you find an even better fit. Be sure to try on what the consultant suggests, even if... it's something you wouldn't have thought to try. It may not look perfect on the rack, but they fit people in dresses everyday. It may look wonderful on you.
The following shops can help you pick the right dress. Some shops even have attire for the entire wedding party, including the groom and groomsmen, and accessories with full services including alterations. It's best to call and see if they will book you an appointment with a consultant so you can have all the attention, like you deserve.
