The Arizona State Fair and the Maricopa County Fair are the most well-known occupants of the Arizona State Fairgrounds. The Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum is located on that property, and there are some concerts, sporting events and trade shows held there even when there's no Fair in session. Several times per year you can attend the Maricopa County Home and Garden Show at the Fairgrounds.
The Fairgrounds are about 7 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
