Amy Lynch is an Indianapolis-based freelance writer specializing in mostly Midwestern food and travel content. 


A freelance writer since 2002, Amy Lynch previously held full-time positions producing custom content for the Indianapolis Star and Chicago Tribune Publishing. She now enjoys sharing her Midwestern food and travel experiences with readers across various outlets including Midwest Living, Indianapolis Monthly, Lonely Planet, Long Weekends, and Travel Indiana. She blogs for and is currently serving her second term as active vice-president for the Midwest Travel Journalists Association, Inc.  


Amy is a proud Hoosier graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington and holds a B.A. degree with a double major in Journalism and English.
