Experience

Prior to writing, Amy began her media career in television, ultimately transitioning into the roles of sound recordist and associate producer while working on programs for National Geographic Television. One of the first programs was “Bear Attacks,” which chronicled various human-grizzly encounters, followed by two episodes on mountain lions. During her time in the field, she received a top-notch education from these apex predators, along with plenty of lessons from her favorite little lagomorph, the industrious pika.
