AMP by Strathmore is a performance and event space that opened in March 2015 within Pike & Rose, the new mixed-use development in the White Flint corridor of North Bethesda, Maryland. The property features a 250-seat music venue; 2,800 square foot indoor space; green room and 1,100 square foot pre-function space. Live entertainment includes a wide range of genres including jazz, rock, folk, indie and contemporary performances. The contemporary glass-enclosed design and flexible layout makes it ideal for weddings, holiday parties, business functions and other social gatherings.
The name “AMP” was chosen to reflect the “amplification” of cultural, educational and musical programming to complement the overall mission of Strathmore to advance the future of the arts. Neighborhood Restaurant Group’s 550 Events & Provisions is the exclusive food and catering partner for the venue providing small plate-style food and a full bar.
