Experience

Amber took her first international flight as an infant visiting her grandparents in Taiwan—and she's been traveling with her own rolling suitcase and walking holes into her shoes since she was a toddler. She has never cried on a plane except one time when she watched "Gone with the Wind" on a long flight from Asia.

Amber started writing about wine and cocktails when she was still a student, and over the years her work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler,  Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Robb Report, Hemispheres, Departures, Fodor's, Lonely Planet, Four Seasons Magazine, Saveur, NPR, Bon Appetit, and many more media outlets.

Amber continues to model professionally in Los Angeles and Chicago when she's not traveling, and sometimes during her travels. Her biggest weaknesses are champagne, dark chocolate, and gelato.

Education

Amber studied journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with a focus on broadcast journalism. She graduated as valedictorian and received a fellowship to attend the 2017 Wine Writers Symposium at Meadowood Napa Valley.
