Vine on the Waterfront: A Celebration of Local Food and Wine

The Alexandria Vine on the Waterfront Food & Wine Festival is an annual event that transforms Alexandria, Virginia into a lively showcase of local food and wine with a full day of entertainment including music, arts and craft exhibits and children activities. Attendees will be able to sample food and wine from a variety of local restaurants and Virginia’s wineries. Local restaurants will compete for the best appetizer, the best main course and the best dessert. Admission is free, however tickets are required to sample food and wine. The 2016 event will feature live entertainment by Justin Trawick & The Common Goods and Allan Scott Band.

Dates and Time: June 25, 2016, Noon-6 p.m.

LocationOronoco Bay Park, 100 Madison St. Alexandria, Virginia.

The park is located at the northern end of Union Street along the Potomac River. Entrances to the park are at Madison St., Pendleton St., and Wythe Street Plaza. See a map

Food samples: $15 for 8 taste tickets until June 18. After June 18, the price is $20.
Wine Garden: $20 per person.
Tickets can be purchased on-site on the day of the event. A portion of the festival proceeds will benefit Volunteer Alexandria,  a non-profit organization in the business of helping Alexandrians give back to the city with their whole heart, through volunteering.
