ABQ Stages produces theater on local stages, engaging the talents of young and old on stage and behind the scenes.

*Adobe Theater

The Adobe Theater has been creating for the stage since 1957. They present ten shows a year, chosen from proposals submitted by directors. New talent is always welcome.

The Albuquerque Little Theatre (ALT) is a non-profit organization that has created live entertainment for over 80 years. ALT produces several live shows every year, has educational programs, and other special events.

Blackout features productions and an arts education program. They also offer improv classes for adults and plan to resurrect the Playwrighting in the Schools program, Wrinkle Writing, in partnership with APS.

Youth Theater

Cardboard Playhouse
Run through the Box Performance Space, Cardboard Playhouse provides kids with summer camps and the chance to participate in theatrical productions.

PLAY Conservatory
PLAY Conservatory provides challenging and original theatrical productions, working with kids 4 through 17. They offer summer stock, workshops, and theater productions where children can develop their creative skills.

The Growing Stage
The Growing Stage offers Saturday drama classes for children 4-17, along with summer workshops, and training in the theater arts.
