Akron and Canton, Ohio offer a variety of interesting shopping venues, from the popular Summit Mall in Fairlawn to Belden Village Mall in Canton. Below are the best shopping malls in the Akron and Canton area.

Summit Mall, which opened in 1965, is an upscale mall, located on Market Street in the northern Akron suburb of Fairlawn. The mall, anchored by Dillard's and Macy's department stores, features more than 120 stores, services, and restaurants. A few of the retailers located there include Aeropostale, Banana Republic, Bath and Body Works, Eddie Bauer, Finish Line, The Gap and New York and Company. Restaurants at the mall include BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, Bravo! Italian Restaurant, P F Chang's China Bistro and The Rail.

Chapel Hill Mall, located on the northeast side of Akron, is a 860,000-square foot traditional mall, anchored by JCPenney, and Macy's. The mall features more than 100 stores and a full-sized indoor carousel with painted scenes of Summit County landmarks. Some of the retailers within Chapel Hill mall include Champs Sports, Express, Claire's, Finish Line, GNC, Kay's Jewelers, Spencer Gifts and Old Navy. Restaurants onsite include Zak's Grill, Sbarro's and Honey-Baked Ham.
The future of this mall remains uncertain. Sears and several smaller retailers have closed their stores here. The Sears anchor location remains empty.

Belden Village Mall, correctly Westfield Belden Village, is located on the north side of Canton, just off of I-77. The mall features more than 150 shops, restaurants, and services and is anchored by Sears, Dillard's, and Macy's. Some of the other tenants include Bath and Body Works, Best Buy, Victoria's Secret, Chico's, Coach and Hollister.
