Welcome to Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport

Technically called the Ioannis Kapodistrias (or Capodistrias) International Airport, the facility is usually referred to as Kerkyra or Corfu Airport.

As it does directly serve international flights, there is a full customs inspections service operating, so this can work as a true alternative to flying in through Athens.

Best Times to Travel to Corfu

Mondays and Fridays tend to be the most crowded days to fly through Kerkyra airport, and long lines are common in high season. If you're traveling on your own, rather than part of a group, try to avoid those days for the smoothest experience.

Corfu is especially popular with British visitors, and many Britain-based airlines offer regular service to Corfu via Corfu Airport. There are also many charter flights to Corfu. Remember, Corfu can be spelled Korfu or can be called by its other name, Kerkyra - which may be seen as Cercyra as well, though that is less frequent these days.
