Finding flights to Tahiti and other areas of the South Pacific from the mainland USA is as easy as getting to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and making a connection to one of the several international carriers that fly to Tahiti, Fiji, the Cook Islands and even more far-flung destinations.

Other carriers offer connections via Honolulu, Hawaii.

Flight times range from just over eight hours to almost 12.

But given these airlines' modern fleets and in-flight entertainment, it will seem like no time before you are checking in to your romantic overwater bungalow in Tahiti or luxury bure in Fiji.
