Adventure World is the exhilarating home to a collection of rollercoasters that soar to heights you’d scarcely thought possible, water-themed rides and slides like Kahuna Falls and Rocky Mountain Rapids, the Grand Prix Race Track where you can whizz around quicker than a Formula One driver, and countless other attractions that are well-suited to thrill-seekers of all ages!

In fact, it’s easy to see why some people have said that Adventure World is the ‘Disneyland of the West’ -- Western Australia, that is.

Located in Perth, its easily-accessible location on the west coast together with affordable ticket packages and family-friendly atmosphere make Adventure Park one of the most popular theme parks in Australia, and a must for all travelers in the West who are looking to let loose and have some fun.

What Is There To Do?

The endless rides are obviously the main attraction at Adventure World. With such a varied selection on offer, everybody from the thrill-seekers to the young ones of the family will find something perfect for them.

The world-class water slides include The Shot Gun and Aqua Super 6 Racer amongst others and are popular choices for anybody who loves the feeling of a good stomach drop. There is also no shortage of rides for the daredevils out there, including The Rampage, Power Surge, and the appropriately-named Abyss. Conquer your fears on some of the most adrenaline-charged rides in the country.

Though there are over 30 water slides and thrill rides for adventure seekers, Adventure World, which is a 100% smoke-free venue, also offers slightly tamer adventures for younger children, and for those who don’t like having their stomachs knotted at great heights.

You can get up close with and cuddle a koala, or check out Kids Cove, where the rides are much more appropriate for little ones. The Little Leaper, Dragon Flyer, and the Sky Lift offer just as much fun, without quite so much of an adrenaline rush.

Park Information and When to Go

As Australia's winter season is opposite of that in the Northern Hemisphere, Adventure World is open during the Aussies' spring and summer months -- September through April. It closes for the winter season (May through August) each year.

For more information on operating hours, entry prices (including group bookings and family passes), and how to get there, check out Adventure World's official website

There are minimum height and maximum weight requirements for a number of rides. Check the park signage and follow instructions from ride operators and lifeguards.
