In Little Rock, there's plenty of fun to be had from shopping at the River Market and touring the historic Quapaw Quarter, but during Halloween, there's plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit–and the fun is not just for kids. Hire a babysitter, put on a costume, and head out to one of these Little Rock, Arkansas Halloween events that are just for adults.

Haunted Tours of Little Rock

On this tour, you'll learn about Little Rock's haunted history as you seek out the paranormal that's way too scary for the kids. On one of these tours, you can get your spook on at sites such as the Empress of Little Rock Bed and Breakfast, Mount Holly Cemetery, the Arsenal at MacArthur Park, Curran Hall, and the Hanger House. In 2019, tours are still available for October 11, 17, 25, and November 1.

Arkansas Paranormal Expo

Every October, the Arkansas Paranormal Expo comes to town. Curious adults who are looking to do something different for Halloween might like spending the weekend hearing about real paranormal investigations. Hosted at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, you can hear presentations on UFOs, Bigfoot, cryptozoology, psychic phenomena, ghosts, and more. With a lineup of lectures, you'll want to leave the kids at home for. The expo takes place on October 5, 2019.

Magic Screams at Magic Springs

Every October, Magic Screams returns to the Magic Springs Theme and Water Park. In addition to the slides and rides, adults can visit spooky haunted houses, go zombie hunting, and listen to campfire stories. There's plenty of fun here for all ages, but more importantly, adults will enjoy themselves just as much as the kids. If you are bringing the kids, don't miss out on the Halloween movie screenings! Magic Screams occurs every weekend in 2019 from September 28 to November 3.

Spend the Saturday night before Halloween at Discovery, a nightclub with three rooms, a patio, and the perfect ambiance for Halloween. Special performances will be in the showroom while DJs spin monster mash-up tunes in the lobby and disco room. Get creative with your costume for a chance to win $1,500 in cash prizes. The event will take place on Saturday October 26, 2019.

Boo at the Zoo Adult Night

Boo at the Zoo is a favorite Little Rock Halloween event for the whole family, but after all the families empty out of the zoo for the day, you'll get to spend the evening enjoying all the fun of Boo at the Zoo but in an adults-only environment. Grown-ups can trick-or-treat for some special adult concoctions and get a chance to experience all the Boo at the Zoo attractions such as the haunted train, haunted house, rides, and games. The party gets started on Saturday October 19, 2019.
